Ron is a lot of things, most of which I’m just finding out as I run his name on the net. I found out about Ron thru a friend on a social networking site who was sharing his poetry… something struck me and stuck and I found myself enjoying his wit and sarcasm. I had a feeling he might dig answering these questions… and he was one of the greats who answered and answered quick… a sure sign for me the person is true in what he does, opinionated and encouraging of creation. All underground qualities.
What is underground art?
iconoclastic art that goes against the status quo grain. see my poems I Will Not Bow Down & I Refuse & Tapping My Own Phone & others.
Are there rules or a set of ethics for underground art?
no rules. ethics: truth honesty refusal to bow down to the system to big brother. and no matter what don’t rat on anyone.
What is selling out?
lying cheating saying things but not living what you say. saying things for fame for wealth. purity of intent is essential. working for equality for all people. doing all i can to uplift inspire heal awaken. myself first then via my actions, which include words, to do same for others. the only government for me is the government of individual responsibility, and helping my neighbors. that’s true anarchy.
Can underground go above ground and still be underground art?
yes. as long as i adhere to the folling premise: we are all dirty potatoes floating in the same tub of polluted water and the more we bang into each other, by openly honestly sharing the stories of our lives, the more we come clean. by living by this standard i’ll always be underground regardless of where i am.
Have you ever sold out?
Is it possible to steal an idea?
i do not want what is not mine. if i borrow an idea i always give credit where credit is due.
Your biggest artistic regret?
i have no regrets. i only have thanks, thanks for each and every moment for each and every event happening person being. failure and success all one learning. listening is the greatest art of all. i listen.
Your biggest artistic inspiration?
all and everything. nothing excluded. everything included.
What is dangerous art?

Bonus question… Nature or nurture?
both. the terrible beauty of nature is nurturing even when destroying. birth the journey death. nature. it’s all good. all essential. all part of one. mysterium tremendum. my attitude is thanks is gratitude for all and everything. no fear. only love.
